Lovely baby Rylee was born just a week for Christmas. Her parents are beyond adorable caring and loving on her. It is easy to see that she’s their best Christmas gift yet.
Even at a Dunn Brother’s coffee shop. That’s the start of Lindsey and Dave’s adventure together, which led them to The Summit Manor on November 12, 2011. It was a beautiful, thoughtful ceremony with so many tender moments – and some crazy dancing too. Enjoy!

My sweet friend Erin called me back for another year’s family photos (and doesn’t her hair look fabulous??) – but the joy this year is Miss Amelia would be joining us. She is treasured and adored by her big brothers and she obviously has eyes for her daddy. But I can tell that she’s the perfect fit for mama, too.

Last Friday, the kids and husband had off for Veteran’s Day. We took the opportunity to drive out to Cosmos, MN to visit my husband’s Uncle Paul. He’s been running Paul’s Barber Shop there for the last 50 years. It’s a cool little shop and it was great to see where Uncle Paul learns some of his best jokes. His wife Shirley made an amazing lunch for us as well. Thanks, all – we love you!

My friend Peggy, who I have known longer than seems possible, asked me to attempt photos of her three boys. “They don’t like to have their picture taken!” she claimed. I tried my hardest to get them to trust me, dropping all the overheard boy talk that I know – which is not much. I think I got them to loosen up a little bit (I hope!).
This outtake cracks me up. I’m pretty sure I was telling the older boys to take a cue from their little brother, who eager to follow the “smile! look at me!” cheers I was shouting out but was not eager to be the center of my attention!
